A game world becomes believable before it becomes realistic. Players learn its rules through repetition, contrast and the consequences of movement.
Halver began as a collection of mechanics, but it only found its identity when the levels started sharing a visual and spatial grammar. Technical constraints stopped being obstacles and became material for design.
The strongest spaces carry two stories at once: the immediate puzzle and the larger sense of place. That tension is what makes a level worth remembering after the solution is known.
Engineering and level design meet at the same question: what can the player reliably understand from the state in front of them?
