About
I build systems by following them all the way to the user.
I'm Aleksandr Golovan, a software engineer working across backend systems, infrastructure, developer tooling, and product engineering.
I care about explicit contracts, boring recovery paths, and interfaces that make the underlying model easier to understand. Outside software, I'm building Halver and writing about the work that survives contact with reality.
